[Untitled manuscript of a Catholic treatise on heresy and miracles], [ca. 1610].

Manuscript on paper of an anonymous theological tract in seven chapters. The author discusses St. Augustine's positions on heresy and miracles, intercessory prayer, and Purgatory, and argues against contemporary Protestant beliefs on these issues. Chapter three contains the author's translation of XXII.viii of De Civitate Dei. The text of the treatise is followed by the author's translation of a 1608 letter which describes Martin Guttich of Coburg's deathbed return to Catholicism after a vision of the Virgin Mary.
